recently died, or " frisch verschieden" is a 12 minute Animation i created from April 2005 to November 2005. The
movie was made during a one year scholarship stay at the hfg - karlsruhe, a school with a strong emphasize on digital media. The style of the movie is strongly influenced by an inborn plaesure of mine to mess things up, combined with a strong sense of bad taste a deep sympathy for black homour. The genre would probably be best described as "3d animated zombie comedy". This pleasure in doing quite the opposite in what is considered good, nice, and clean is a part of me that interests me a lot, making art. ( I really love punks, by the way. Though i'm far from being a punk, when you see me in person, the part that advices me during the creative process, and to whom i appreciate listening the most, that person is a damn punk.So i guess, if there was a domain in conteporary art called "punk", this would defenetely the categorie for this movie. So for easy reception: Just imagine there is a time in the history of contemporary art that is called punk.)...enjoy
